Job Description

Role: Sign Maker / FitterLocation: OldhamSalary: £24K + OvertimeMy client are currently seeking a successful candidate to join their high performing team to be an all rounder who will be responsible for the production and installation of general signage, vehicle graphics and LED signs.Candidates should be proficient in the following fields;

  • General sign-making/vinyl weeding/laminating etc
  • Mounting and finishing using Rolls Roller, Zund & Gerber equipment
  • Applying vinyl graphics to various substrates and vehicles both on and off site
  • Commercial vehicle graphics including wrap
  • Understanding and using rip software
  • Using large format digital print machines both roll feed and flat bed (Solvent & UV machines)
  • Use or be willing to learn how to use CNC & Laser Machines
The following personal attributes are also essential;
  • Your attention to detail must be outstanding and we expect a high standard of work. You will be responsible for keeping your work area clean, tidy and safe.
  • You must be a self starter and able to use your own initiative whilst working as part of a friendly, hard working team.
  • You must be flexible and be willing to work overtime (early starts or late finishes to meet deadlines)
