A Senior IT Engineer (Microsoft Technologies) is required for our client based in Oldham for an initial 12-month contract. This position will be mainly on site with some elements of home working (approx. 80% on site), therefore please only apply if you arelocally based and able to commit to being on site throughout the week.This is a senior technical role responsible for providing leading knowledge and guidance in the deployment and management of Microsoft Endpoint Manager solutions. You are the primary technical expert responsible for addressing complex technical challengesrelated to end-user computing; specifically, Microsoft Technologies, focusing on Autopilot, Intune, SCCM, Autopatch, Azure Monitor and related components.In this position, you will combine your technical expertise with mentorship to junior Engineers, ensuring that the IT estate operates at peak performance. While not managing staff, you provide primary on-site knowledge, technical expertise, and technicalcoaching to IT colleagues.As a Senior Engineer, you will form part of the Infrastructure team. This highly skilled collaborative team is formed from a combination of Network, Server and Field Services staff and focuses on the design, implementation, monitoring, maintenance and troubleshootingof infrastructure assets.Furthermore, you will assist in embedding ITIL incident management and service-related processes, providing best practice service management of the Field Service Team through second line support.Skills/experience required;
