Job Description

Senior Graphic Designer | Oldham| Office Based| Full Time**Salary monthly, 22 days holiday, Life Assurance, Sick Pay, Private Medical, Auto enrolment into a pension, Bonus, Staff Purchases and Free Parking**Character Options is a multi-award winning, UK toy company with prestigious toy brands in its portfolio including Peppa Pig, Stretch Armstrong, Teletubbies, Heroes of Goo Jit Zu, ChillFactor, Fireman Sam and Jiggly Pets.You will need to be a collaborative, creative and enthusiastic person who can influence through insight and thoughtful communication. As Marketing Executive at Character Options, you will be a key part of the marketing department.In this role, you will assist the Design Manager in providing a design service to Character Options.What will your role as a Senior Graphic Designer look like

  • This is a great opportunity for a talented individual to take up a creative graphic design role within a small design team within the UKs largest toy manufacturer, working on some of the biggest brand in the industry
  • You will be creatively challenged to develop graphic design for print, online, brochures, signage, marketing campaigns and POS
  • In addition, the role will include the opportunity to manage web-based projects such as micro-sites and social media channels
  • Strong communication skills are essential, working collaboratively with the team, and independently to conceptualise, and implement visuals based on the requirements and needs of the Marketing Team
Are you the right person for us
  • A graphic design qualification or similar
  • A minimum 3 years experience within a similar role
  • Excellent skills in Adobe InDesign, Illustrator & Photoshop
  • A strong portfolio that demonstrates your eye for detail across multiple platforms (physical, mobile, web)
  • Excellent organisational skills: able to prioritise a large workload according to ever-changing business needs
  • A passion for design and a creative flair
  • Ability to work across multiple projects running alongside each other
