Senior Financial Analyst - Hybrid working - OldhamI am currently recruiting for a Senior Financial Analyst for global American media company. This multinational business has seen significant growth in the last number of years and over time, become one of our biggest clients in the North West.They are looking for someone to join their supportive and sociable finance team, working closely with colleagues to focus on delivering high quality, insightful financial analysis. This role is perfect for someone looking for a step up in their current analystposition, or for a candidate yearning to push their FP&A career further. The role will also offer flexible, hybrid working.Key responsibilities would include:* Analytical financial support to the department. * Preparation of budgets and forecasts, analysis of variance in actual performance.* Providing business partnering support towards stakeholders across the EMEA organisation.* This part of the team has a strong leaning towards commercial business partnering but may also work closely with operations and other areas when required.* Engaging with and leading projects to improve commercial performance. * Process improvement to help support analysis or larger commercial deals. Likely that a large part of this role will focus on automating and upgrading reporting and analysis.* Helping to improve forecasting accuracy.Qualifications & Experience* Ideally, a professional accounting qualification is required e.g. ACA, ACCA or CIMA. * Prior analytical and business partnering experience.* Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills.* Use of an advanced database or power BI knowledge highly desirable.For more information on this fantastic position, or any other finance roles, please contact Charlotte Manuel at Robert Walters on .
