Pastoral Behaviour Support AssistantLocation: Oldham, Greater ManchesterAre you passionate about providing holistic support to students, helping them navigate challenges and thrive both academically and emotionally We are currently seeking a dedicated Pastoral Behaviour Support Assistant to join our compassionate team at ourOldham school.As a Pastoral Behaviour Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in promoting positive behaviour and well-being among students by offering personalized support and guidance. Working closely with the pastoral care team, you will assist in implementingstrategies to address behavioural issues, foster resilience, and enhance students social and emotional skills.Responsibilities:Provide support to students experiencing behavioural difficulties, offering guidance and encouragement.Collaborate with the pastoral care team to develop and implement intervention plans tailored to students needs.Foster positive relationships with students, parents, and external agencies to ensure a coordinated approach to support.Conduct regular check-ins and mentoring sessions with students to monitor progress and provide ongoing guidance.Assist in organizing and facilitating workshops or activities promoting positive behavior and well-being.Requirements:Previous experience working in a pastoral or behavioural support role within a school or similar setting is desirable.Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with students and communicate effectively with stakeholders.Empathy, patience, and a non-judgmental approach to supporting students emotional and behavioural needs.Ability to work collaboratively within a team and follow safeguarding policies and procedures.Resilience and adaptability to respond effectively to challenging situations and changing student needs.Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 3:30pmLocation: Oldham, Greater ManchesterSalary: £95-£105 per day.How to Apply: If you are enthusiastic about supporting students learning and thrive in a dynamic educational environment, we want to hear from you!
