SEMH Secondary Teaching Assistant - A Secondary School in Oldham are looking to recruit a SEMH Secondary Teaching Assistant on a long-term basisSecure work from April until July with the potential to extend following a successful three month period. A lovely Manchester secondary school are looking to appoint a specialist member of support staff to work on a 1:1 basis with a child in Year 9.Hours: 8:45 - 3:15This SEMH Secondary Teaching Assistant role entails working on a one to one basis with a student with an EHCP.The child has recently returned to full-time education having encountered difficulties reintegrating into mainstream education following the impact of the pandemic. This SEMH Secondary Teaching Assistant role requires a nurturing, empathetic and compassionateapproach with a long-term focus on ensuring the child is able to bridge the gap in attainment they suffered during Covid.The school has a good Ofsted grading with and following its last inspection received plaudits on its commitment to improving outcomes for Pupil students.
