Job Description

You the product assistant will set up new seasons critical path, recording and photographing new lines. And managing the product pool in terms of selected/deselected lines.Client DetailsA market leading textile business in the Greater Manchester office. They design and produce textiles for a number of large retail accounts. They have a great reputation in the industry with a number of long service employees.Description

  • Initial selection meeting preparation.
  • Chasing samples for meetings.
  • Set up of new seasons Critical Paths and Intake Sheets.
  • Ensuring all information is being filled in on Critical Paths and Intake Sheets.
  • Liaise closely with studio on new designs.
  • Liaise with the display team to set up showrooms for meetings.
  • Setting up new lines on the system.
  • Recording and photographing new lines.
  • Managing the product pool in terms of selected/deselected lines.
  • Organising samples for both internal and external meetings.
  • Responsible for ensuring all samples are logged on Critical Paths and Intake Sheet, and samples are stored on cold sample room.
  • Complete product component lists with all relevant information.
  • Completing Red Seal forms.
  • Complete Barcode Create forms and send to the retailers.
  • Complete web info for the customer.
  • Liaise with Quality on initial product checks.
  • Chase and ensure all Quality aspects are carried out.
  • Organising packaging within timescales.
  • Organising photography within timescales.
  • Organising how to folds are completed on time.
  • Chasing and approving packaging from the factories.
  • Chasing Gold Seals and liaising with Quality.
  • Request Article Numbers from the customer and update on the Intake Sheet.
  • Organising weekly Critical Path meetings.

  • Enthusiastic & able to work cooperatively with different departments
  • Able to work in a busy environment and meet deadlines whilst attention to detail is paramount.
  • Good system knowledge, including Microsoft Office.
  • Able to work on own initiative.
