With a growinginternational presence within commercial operations across the globe, they have two manufacturing sites, a rapidly expanding R&D centre, and a network of over 20 trading partners, enabling businesses to reduce cash related security risks and improve theircustomers experience. With a family friendly feel, they have several roles live currently as they scale and are looking for a Materials Planner to be based out of their Oldham head office.As Materials Planner, you will be responsible for advance planning schedules to be available to manufacturing to meet order commitments, and to monitor sales trends and warehouse stock, ensuring that suppliers are meeting delivery timescales and using dataanalysis to drive inventory control programs.Materials Planner – Responsibilities - Coordinate production workflow for multiple products and components- Determine manpower, equipment and raw materials required to cover production demand- Develop a production schedule detailing all tasks and working towards completion date- Monitor material supply flow and eliminate any shortages or bottlenecks- Lead meetings to raise alerts to highlight potential issues on stock or customer- Develop effective strategies for business development and stock control systems- Driving sales forecast data and managing offsite delivery schedules to meet order book demands- Working with Sales on achieving customer satisfaction by the way of delivering a quality product on time and within cost.- Driving change and implementing new processes to improve standards- Reporting any potentially dangerous issues/faults to the Production Manager.- Ensure materials are always available to cover the production plan within the given timeframe- Driven to ensure Internal and external customer satisfaction is reached- Ensure stock is accurate and maintained within the systemsMaterials Planner – Required Skills - Minimum two years’ experience working with an MRP system- Excellent verbal and written communicator with knowledge of production systems and MS Office skills- Knowledge of LEAN tools and KPIs to aid improved business efficiency and controls- Organisational and excellent decision-making ability in a dynamic environment- Strong collaborative and influencing ability with a high level of attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects and different product linesThere couldn’t be a better time to join their business and as their Materials Planner you will receive a competitive base salary, discretionary bonus, BUPA opt in option, on site gym & Electrical car schemes, amongst other benefits.You may have gained your previous experience as a Production Planner, Production Supervisor or Supply Chain Planner.If youre ready to embark on a fulfilling career journey, where your skills are valued, your growth is encouraged, and your wellbeing is a priority, we invite you to be a part of our client’s dynamic team.
