Job Description

Company BackgroundHighly successful company in the Gift and Interiors industry. Family run business, suppliers to wholesale, retail and online channels. Products sourced from worldwide suppliers including the far east.The Job | Head of Product DevelopmentWorking as part of the Creative and Marketing department you will have 3 direct reports, your role will include the following duties:

  • Leadership of 3 people within Design and Brand Development roles.
  • Hands on managing the design function and creation of all own design products across several brands.
  • Working to develop bespoke products for National Accounts.
  • Product sourcing and working with new and existing suppliers / factories Worldwide with a focus on sourcing high quality, commercial off the shelf’ products.
  • Management of product development for seasonal launches; design, planning, visual guides, POS and other marketing materials.
  • Analysis and identification of trends to develop briefs for new product ranges.
  • Travel to the far east will be necessary, 4 or 5 times a year.
