Job Description

The role would be great for someone who may be looking to pursue a career in education or wishing to embark on a PGCE in September 2022 to work in the languages department as a tutor. The role will be to start ASAP and will be full-time.There are opportunities across the school depending on what youre looking for and your subject degree. You will be responsible for supporting pupils within the department in Key Stage 3 & 4, you will also have a small timetable where you will provide intensiveintervention sessions, supporting small groups of learners. There are also opportunities to support children who require extra behavioural support or Special Needs support. The school is part of a trust and has various sites across Greater Manchester.POSITION DETAILS:

  • Location- Oldham, Manchester
  • Position - Graduate (mentor/learning support opportunities)
  • Type of work - Intervention Support
  • Start date - ASAP
  • Likely Duration - June/July 2022
  • Contract type - Temporary
  • Full time/part time - Full time
  • Minimum rate of pay - From £75 per day
  • Hours - 8:30am-4pm OR 12noon - 6pm Monday to Thursday 12noon - 4pm Friday
EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Degree in a curriculum or foundation subject ideal (Maths, English, Science, Humanities, Languages, Psychology)
  • High grade in English & Maths at GCSE
  • Previous experience working with young people desirable
TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:
  • Hold Right to Work in the UK
  • Hold an enhanced DBS registered on the update service or be willing to process a new application at a cost of £45.80.
  • Provide two professional references
