Job Description

As Compliance and Improvements Lead, you will take an active role in the implementation of continuous improvements within manufacturing. These will have to be in line with quality systems, audits, identifying key projects and improvement activities, suchas costs analysis and aiding tool improvement/installations seamlessly.Client DetailsAn industry leading Manufacturer based in Oldham, they are looking to add a Compliance and Improvements Lead to the Engineering and Manufacturing team to drive behaviours and attributes across site.DescriptionAs Compliance and Improvements Lead, your key responsibilities will be:

  • Working within Manufacturing implementing systems, that impact the key deliverables of Cost, Quality & yield:
  • Driving conformance / Compliance
  • Mech Yield
  • Training
  • Ownership of C.I system
  • Internal, external audits - 6s Inspections - completion of Corrective Action Reports (CARs)
  • Supporting & working alongside: Waferfab teams and other departmental projects and audits, Quality Dept, Facilities, IT, Process, Equipment, HR, Dispatch & Purchasing and HSE Department.
ProfileThe successful Compliance & Improvements Lead will have the following:Essential Qualifications
  • Project Management, i.e. Six Sigma Green Belt or similar
  • Lean Management
  • ILM level 3
Essential Skills, Knowledge & Experience
  • Knowledge of Lean techniques
  • Project management methodologies
  • Experience CARs and problem-solving tools /methodologies
  • PC literate - Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access, SharePoint
  • Good communication, report writing & interpersonal skills
  • Production of internal processes or procedures
  • Experience of running or being involved in successful improvement projects. Delivering results and demonstrating improvements
  • Team leadership
Job OfferSalary: £35,000 - £40,000 per yearBenefits:
