* Apprentice trained in CNC Milling / Horizontal Boring* Heavy Engineering experience* Programming on Heidenhain controlsLodestone Recruitment are currently working in partnership with our client in the Oldham area who have a requirement for a permanent CNC Miller / CNC Horizontal Borer Programmer.Our client works across various sectors within heavy engineering, including Oil & Gas, Defence, and Nuclear sectors and have recently acquired some new machines.Candidates should have the following experience to be considered for the role:* Must be apprentice trained or time served CNC Machinist with a background in CNC Milling or Horizontal Boring.* Must be able to programme or edit using Heidenhain controls.* Have experience working on heavy engineering projects working on projects for the Oil & Gas, Nuclear or similar sectors.* Must have experience of one offs and worked in sub-contract machine shop working on medium to large components.* Will ideally have worked on multi-axis machines up to 5 axis.The company is located in Oldham area with good links to M62.The offer for the role of CNC Miller / Horizontal Borer Machinist:Salary: £35,392 - £38,932/annum + regular overtime (paid at x1.5)Shifts: 2 weeks regular days/2 weeks night on rotational shiftsHours: 37.5-hour week with regular overtimePension: recent increase in company pensionThis is permanent contract going straight onto the books of the company.To apply for this CNC Miller vacancy and for immediate consideration, please click apply now or call Nicholas Brennan on for more information.Lodestone Recruitment Ltd are acting as an employment agency in relation to this vacancy.
