Job Description

To ensure that customers of the premium car manufacturer that we represent receive a superlative service that enhances their perception of the brand when they need our Assistance service. Our brand roadside repair technicians are empowered to takeownership of each assistance they attend, by making the best and most relevant decisions for each customer to ensure their soonest possible onward mobility in their moment of need.Salary PackageOur package is designed to attract and keep the best Technicians in terms of technical skills, positive attitude and customer handling capabilities. Full Training and support will be provided to all those who join us on a journey that will both fully exploitthe opportunity for self-development and maximising any individual’s potential.

  • £45,000 OTE
  • Basic salary £35,574
  • Top performers achieving £50,000 + (you will not need to work additional shifts to acheive this)
Currently, for all successful applicants we are also offering in the first year of service:
  • Guaranteed Bonus £3,000 in the first 12 months, paid quarterly
HoursYour hours of work will equate to a 48-hour working week and based on the current shift rota, any change to shift rotas are subject to one month’s notice of change. Shifts are between 7am and 10pm Monday to Sunday.You will:The Open RoadThey say variety is the spice of life and there is no shortage of variety in this role. You will be the face of our client’s Brand, helping customers in their hour of need, whether that be home or roadside, supporting them through a key moment of truth.Although you will be working with one brand, the breadth of models, drive trains and diagnosis systems are sure to keep you interested.Roadside Assistance and RepairAttending Customers when they need our help the most. You will be motivated to repair the vehicle at scene through various technologies and diagnostic systems, arranging when the vehicle requires Retailer attention, or simply talking customers through arepair that can be dealt with easily.Through Active support from the dedicated Technical Specialists to continually support repair opportunities, through to associated Technical Training to keep you up to speed with technology, you will be part of a team that not only delivers exceptional customerservice but also provides valuable feedback to our client to continually improve product quality.Customer ServiceYour whole approach to delivering excellent service will result in rewarding direct and/or written positive feedback from Customers you have helped in their moment of need. This feedback feels good, very good. To makes things feel even better there willalso be an incentive programme based on service delivery and feedback that includes interaction with the client.Service Vehicle MaintenanceA clean and tidy first impression is essential as it positively contributes to the premium position you will hold. It is therefore a requirement that your vehicle meets these criteria at all possible times - weather permitting. That said, if you are theright type of person, you already know this.Stock Control Proactively work with our Technical Support teams to ensure you are carrying the optimum parts stock and tooling to make it as easy as possible to achieve the efficient delivery of service.About you:
  • Manufacture apprenticeship or equivalent City & Guilds Technician Certificate Parts I and II NVQ/B-Tech diploma
  • Diagnostic equipment experience
  • Excellent fault finding and repair skills
  • Excellent customer facing skills
  • Good level of IT competence
  • Full drivers’ licence
  • Flexible and adaptable to changing circumstances
