Job Description

Management AccountantA part qualified management accountant is sough to join this leading provider and innovator of engineered, analytical sensor monitoring solutions for water and gas applications based in Oldham.Operating on a global scale within the utilities, food and drinks and healthcare sector the business is looking to expand its fast growing finance team, by hiring a management accountant. The business is pioneers in the development and deployment of bespoke,industry leading products and solutions.You will be part of a talented team of individuals who strive to bring out the best in one another.Reporting to the account manager your duties will include:

  • Drive the continuous improvement of end-to-end accounting practices.
  • Prepare monthly accruals, prepayments, and similar accounting entries.
  • Preparing the analysis of monthly and quarterly numbers and presenting findings.
  • Preparing statutory accounts and year ends.
  • Processing and raising invoices and bills.
  • Dealing with working capital management and production of cash flow forecasts.
  • Managing and coordinating monthly reporting, budgeting, and reforecast processes.
  • Report generation
  • VAT management and reporting.
YOU
  • Ideally you will be a finalist or part qualified (ACCA/ACA)
  • Strong technical accounting knowledge and numerical skills
  • Strong Excel skills
  • Previous experience in the preparation of year ends accounts
