Job Description

To deliver our promises to our customers we are looking for a highly motivated, customer-focussed individual to appoint to the following key position:(£40,233 - £41,754)PermanentThe main purpose of the post isSupport the Head of Asset, Investment Strategy to deliver the Organisations Asset Management Strategy and associated strategies, policies and procedures. To ensure that the Assets Team develops and supports the Business Plan that provides customers with affordable, decent, low carbon housing and social solutions, in line with the Organisations strategic objectives. Deliver the Organisations statutory and regulatory targets.Key Responsibilities:Data Analysis & Collection

  1. Ensure stock data is updated and maintained within the asset management system and other systems, following any change to the stock or its assets.
  2. Transfer site and cost based information to the asset management system, ensuring that accurate records regarding stock (including non-domestic) are maintained, including the update of SORs between systems.
  3. Co-ordinate the data loading of asset related data into the asset management system and other systems as required.
  4. Carry out data cleansing to ensure that data is accurate within systems to enable accurate cost forecasting within the business plan.
  5. Develop/implement policy and procedure for the addition of stock related data & new properties to the asset management and other systems.
  6. Gather data/information that is not captured within the asset management system, from teams within the Organisation, to assist in the development of Planned Investment programmes.
  7. Working with teams within the Organisation, gather data to develop cyclical programmes of works.
Asset Performance Evaluation
  1. Implement mechanisms to assess the financial and social performance of stock.
  2. Undertake asset performance evaluation assessments (option appraisals and sustainability analysis) to ensure the Organisation makes appropriate decisions on the level of investment required to its assets to ensure value is maximised.
  3. Provide investment options against stock to improve their performance.
Planned Investment Programmes
  1. Deliver clear, defined, long term investment programmes by undertaking and co-ordinating validation of stock data, to ensure that appropriate provision is made to maintain the standard of the Organisations stock.
  2. Identify options that will provide social value for residents by improved asset management processes and investment (incl. reduced fuel costs for residents, improved energy efficiency, identifying renewable energy options).
  3. Develop relationships/links with planned and reactive maintenance teams to ensure coordinated investment programmes are developed.
Business Planning
  1. Provide updated 30 year, business plan cost forecasts from the asset management system and teams within the Organisation, to ensure that the plan is affordable and captures lifecycle replacement and future major works.
  2. Identify funding opportunities within the market to maximise potential sources of income and see funding applications through to completion.
  3. Working with the Environmental Manager, help to develop partnerships with manufacturers and third party organisations to maximise opportunities with regard energy efficiency and sustainability initiatives in line with end of life component replacements.
Project Management
  1. Work with the Head of Investment to develop packaged, programmes of work over the duration of the business plan.
