Job Description

Operations Administrator Salary: £23,000 - £28,000 (dependant on experience)Location: OldburyPermanentFull-time 37.5 hours a weekProposed start date: As soon as possibleOffice Angels is the market-leading provider of permanent office professional roles across the UK. Were also passionate about helping our candidates fulfil their career potential.Our client is based in the heart of the Black Country and are looking to recruit for a hardworking and dedicated Operations Co-ordinator to support varied departments and members with all aspects of administration, HR, Transport and Health & Safety.Duties will include:

  • Data Capture for good inwards and outwards on bespoke current system - training to be provided
  • Stock and WIP Control, raw material good inwards control
  • Verification of purchase invoices against purchase contracts, GRN, weighbridge and small scales verification and analysis results from in-house quality control department
  • Creation of delivery/collection for good outwards
  • Preparation of sales invoices
  • Working to deadlines as advised/coordinated
  • Shipping and export documentation production - training to be provided
  • Co-ordination of containers from shipping companies
  • Transport co-ordination of own and sub-contractors lorries for local pickups and Sales
  • Filing as required
  • Answering the phone
  • Liaising with customer and supplier in regarding to the operational aspects
  • Managing the company ISO Quality System
  • Giving HR & H&S support
  • Responsibility of IT and Telephone support-liaising with external contractors
  • Other administrative duties as directed
  • Maintenance update of necessary licences and necessary certificates
  • Administration in respect of Environmental compliance
  • Issuing job cards
  • Running an outstanding to do list
  • Administration of analysis from the laboratory
  • Co-ordination of personal - works and drivers from agencies
  • Liaising with customer and supplier in regarding to the operational aspects
  • Supporting Traders - i.e. Contract input/Pricing/Purchasing of Material
  • Trader Analysis Reporting
The ideal Operations Coordinator will possess the following attributes:
  • First class Customer Service with good communication skills
  • Be confident with a strong work ethic
  • Experience and knowledge within manufacturing
  • Able to use Excel and Word
