Our global purpose is to make a difference by solving peoples problems with real care.Your Purpose as an Autoglass® Technician:To exceed our customers expectations by providing the highest quality service and standards of work working alongside experienced Technicians as part of a team, preparing the job, greeting customers, repairing glass or providing any other company servicesor products. The high standard of your work and strong customer service orientation will leave a lasting impression with our customers, so we will give you the encouragement, training and confidence you need to keep up to date in order to deliver the easiestand best ever customer experience.Your Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities:

  • Meet and greet customers at the start of the job ensuring that they understand what will happen throughout.
  • Complete the pre-inspection of the vehicle.
  • Assemble all parts required for the job and add car protection.
  • Complete any other non-technical preparatory work such as glass preparation.
  • Offer Value Added Products and fit them if sold.
  • Repair vehicle glass in line with Belron Way of Fitting, including other associated tasks that arise from the repair.
  • Assist with tasks at the Centre in line with your training, which may include 2-person jobs, assist tasks or customer liaison.
  • Clean the vehicle as required at the end of the job.
  • Hand the vehicle back to the customer, answering any questions and taking payment as required.
  • Actively support our Purpose, Vision and Values.
  • Foster collaborative working relationships that enhances our brands so to generate new and repeat business.
  • Actively develop your own knowledge, skills and abilities to enable your success, whether technical, behavioural or IT system based, and generously share these to help transform the success of your colleagues and our business.
  • Make sure the work you complete for our customers is to the Belron® Way of Fitting standards and adheres to the safety steps, as trained.
  • Take personal responsibility for completing customer appointments that are assigned to you each day.
  • Ensure the work you complete for our customers is aligned to the British Repair Standard BSAU242b.
  • Personably engage with our customers and members of the public through every interaction by keeping your customers informed and remaining professional and credible at all times.
  • Ensure customer feedback is passed on to the appropriate person.
  • Improve our service offering of Value Added Products and Service (e.g. wipers, additional products) by seeking out, and exploiting all opportunities that will increase sales and further develop Autoglass®
  • Identify and support any quality improvement initiatives during the fitting of current products so to support the Technical Help Desk identify and provide solutions to all the Technicians.
  • Maintain Autoglass® Centre standards and efficient ways of working.
  • Demonstrate a continuous duty to take care of your own Health & Safety and that of others who may be affected by your actions at work.
  • Achieve a high standard of accuracy when updating and recording information on mobile devices, completing paperwork, documentation and when using company IT systems.
  • Ensure your tool kit and other company issued equipment remains in good working order and fit for purpose, through regular servicing and repair.
  • Adhere to audit requirements.
  • Ability to work on a mobile basis, if required
  • If using or provided with a company vehicle, ensure it is checked and maintained to a high standard, including cleanliness, both internally and externally, in accordance with the Company Driving for Work Policy
