Work five days a week, which will include weekends and bank holiday on a rota basis.Salary: £20721 per annumContract:Fixed term contract until October 2022 What its like to work here Runnymede is a National Trust property, internationally famous as the site of the sealing of the Magna Carta in 2015. Fast forward 806 years and we have great plans to maximise the potential of the interest in the site and the anticipated increase in visitornumbers to this historic landscape as part of a Heritage Lottery Fund project at the property.We believe that people deserve more than just good service but an amazing experience theyll never forget. Working as part of a small property team, youll help care for the property, from welcome visitorsand helping them to explore the site, and talk to them about Runnymedes fascinating past. What youll be doing As a Visitor Experience Officer, youll be responsible for the delivery of effective interpretation and engaging programming to deliver a year round offering of events at the property. Working alongside the Ranger team, youll maximising income from carparking, mooring fees and fishing licenses, actively engage with visitors and foster local community links. We want to stimulate an increased proportion of local visits, growth in local membership and the numbers thinking of Runnymede as their special place.Most importantly, youll be welcoming our visitors so warmly that they feel like guests as they arrive and friends by the time they leave. develop engaging and meaningful interpretation that can teach, move and inspire our visitors.Understanding how and why we engage our supporters is key. Working with our spirit of place, youll work with the visitor welcome team to link everything we do back to our cause and the on-going work we do. Youll deliver high standards of presentation atthe property, and ensure all our communications with our visitors, from the first click on the website, to the posters and signs around the property are clear and consistent.
