Job Description

The team here are working closely with the Local Authority in order to provide an all round service to the community with restorative care at the heart of our mission.We are looking to link experienced & highly skilled Support Workers to work with Young People within the community, who are faced with some severe challenges through a pivotal moment of their childhood years.You will be supporting Young People who may be subjected to some of & more than the following;

  • Domestic Abuse
  • Substance Abuse
  • Absent Guardians
  • Financial Insecurity
  • Living With Disabilities
  • Communication Barriers/ Non English Speakers
  • Sexual Exploitation
  • Gang Affiliation
  • County Lines
We are looking to offer a hands on approach, with scope to build a solid, long lasting relationship that will have a vital impact for the good! It is imperative that a solution based approach is used within this role in order to maximise the potential positivesthat will come from your interactions with the Service Users.Core Duties:
  • Safeguarding & providing care for Young People within your caseload.
  • Assessing risk & Safeguarding issues.
  • Undertaking risk and need assessments when appropriate.
  • Reporting any potential risk or safeguarding concerns efficiently through the correct channels.
  • Working closely with Social Services, Police & other appropriate agencies.
  • Working within professional boundaries maintaining safety and appropriate confidentiality at all times.
Writing up reports to a high standard as to be read & stored by the Local Authority. Essential Requirements:
  • Valid UK Right To Work with 12+ Months Experience in a similar role (Experience with Children &YP Essential)
  • Full CV inc. Employment History (Any Breaks Longer Than 2 Weeks Must be Accounted For)
  • Enhanced DBS (Vulnerable Childrens & Adults), Registered on the Update Service. (CarePro will aim to assist with this, should you have any difficulty).
  • PMVA Trained (Certification Required). (CarePro will aim to assist with this, should you have any difficulty).
