Job Description

Cathedral Appointments are currently recruiting for an experienced Hardware Engineer, with an electronics bias to join a well-established engineering company based in Okehampton and Exeter This is an excellent opportunity to build a career in highly dynamic organisation who offer exciting career progression opportunities.Reporting into the Technical Director, the successful candidate will work alongside a small, technical manufacturing team in a both a leadership and hands-on capacity. The Hardware Engineer will play a key role in the design team.Responsibilities:

  • The ability to use Industry Standard CAD/CAM packages, preferably Electronics Work
  • Bench
  • Familiarity with Embedded Systems Design for Low Power/Battery Systems
  • Experience with Wireless/Bluetooth technology
  • Prototyping and Soldering Experience
  • Preparation of Technical Documentation and Production Documentation
    • Requirements:
  • An excellent eye for detail
  • An HND in Electronic Engineering or a related discipline in Hardware
  • Ideally, 3-5 years of experience in a design role
  • A proven track record of success in your career history
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • Customer focused with top-class communication skills
