Job Description

Job Types: Full-time, PermanentSalary: £25.000 - £28.000 per yearHours:4 x 24 hour shifts - 8am - 10.30pm sleep and then 7.30am - 8am then 4 days OFFLocation: North Devon, near Bow villageAs a Deputy Manager you will be responsible for supporting the manager and team in all aspects of the day-to-day operations, including managing staff teams, budgets and ensuring that the quality of the services provided meets expected care standards. Also,as a Deputy Manager you will Directly support children and young people in our care and promote a non-sanction lead ethos, ensuring the child/young person is at the center of provision.In the role of Deputy Manager you will also establish and maintain positive and trusting relationships with children and young people that will promote their sense of security. As a Deputy Manager you will also support children and young people to overcomebarriers to social inclusion and access to education and support children or Young People through the process of any transition.Do you have

  • Level 3 in Childcare & education
  • Minimum 2 year working with children who display challenging behavior.
  • Experience of supporting children with SEMHD.
  • Experience of safeguarding children and young people.
  • Excellent identification of risk and ability to reduce risk for children, young people and staff.
  • Excellent knowledge of Childrens Homes regulations.
  • Trauma and attachment training
  • Level 2 safeguarding
  • First aid certification
  • PI training
  • Proven CPD record
