  • £9.70 or £10.28 per hour if you have an NVQ/RQF Level 2 in Health & Social Care. If you dont already have the qualification, we will support you to achieve it

What does being a Care Assistant involveAs a Care Assistant, you will be helping our customers with a variety of tasks from personal care (showering/dressing/toileting), meal preparation, household chores, attending appointments, shopping, through to assisting with medication. Whilst you are assistingwith these practical tasks, emotional support and companionship are more important than ever!What you need to work as a Care Assistant with Guinness:
  • To be comfortable supporting customers with personal care including bathing, toileting and with their personal hygiene needs
  • To be available to work shifts between 7am-2.30pm and 2.30pm-11pm, including alternate weekends (both days)
  • Above all, you need a real desire to care for others and make a real difference to their quality of life.
