Executive Assistant Closing Date - 15/01/2023 A bit about the role... The Executive Assistant role is an essential corporate role that supports senior leadership to be effective in their roles. The role is designed to support members of senior leadership (Executive Directors, Directors and Assistant Directors) to deliver theirroles in an organised way by providing a high-quality support service to assigned Director(s). You will demonstrate an ability to handle multiple priorities and apply excellent attention to detail in the work that you do. You will anticipate the needs of ExecutiveDirectors and show initiative in problem solving.As an Executive Assistant you will demonstrate a high level of professionalism and confidentiality in the work that you do in supporting our most senior leaders.The Markets Partners and Places (MPP) directorate plays a leading role in driving Homes Englands mission, objectives, business development and place-focussed activity. We use our knowledge to focus our expertise and forge ambitious local partnerships thatsolve the most complex placemaking issues and leverage commercial, economic and social benefits to deliver our housing and regeneration targets.MPP has four partner-facing teams which lead Homes Englands business development and place-focussed activities, acting as the front door to partners to access Homes England skills and products and shape conversations and solutions with places. We work withexperts across Homes England, the market and Government to lead the development of agency-wide strategies that support housing and regeneration. We lead multi-functional teams to deliver significant opportunities and cross-agency projects focusing on our strategicpriorities. MPP has a mixed portfolio of projects, such as Bristol Temple Meads, Garden Communities and Strategic Place Partnerships, providing flexibility and supporting colleagues to explore their own interests and areas of expertise. A bit about you We are looking for someone who has the following key skills and knowledge:1.Excellent organisation skills with ability to anticipate and show initiative.2.Resilience to adapt to ever changing priorities and demands, demonstrating knowledge and professionalism to support leaders to achieve outcomes3.Excellent administration skills, ability to communicate clearly, orally and in writing with good attention to detail4.Ability to work at pace and with multiple priorities5.Effective time management skills6.Stakeholder management skills with demonstrable initiative, proactivity and engagement with business7.Political sensitivity, and the ability to exercise appropriate discretion, tact, diplomacy, confidentiality and judgement on issues of significance and importance, particularly when dealing with officials at the highest level8.Ability to build rapport and trust with senior leaders9.Advanced digital skills, with knowledge and experience of a range of software applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
