Proud to be an emerging leader in UK Manufacturing.As Production Director youll be responsible for the focussed manufacturing output of the business, working in an AS9100 and IATF16949 certified manufacturing environment.Working closely with all senior leadership members, in particular with the Performance Improvement Director who supports with supply chain and planning, and necessary production performance analytics to maximise output performance, to achieve and exceed expectations.Key Responsibilities include:* Lead the day-to-day operation from the shop floor of the manufacturing/production facility implementing necessary changes and adjustments to maximise efficiencies through continuous improvement activities.* Responsibility for delivery of the production plan, maximising all available resources (equipment & people), whilst maintaining/controlling costs.* Utilisation of internally generated data to Implement, monitor and improve systems and processes.* Adherence to stringent aerospace and automotive quality standards, supporting all audit management activities.* Evaluate overall operational performance, creating operational strategies to maximise stock usage and minimise scrap.* Ensure production equipment is effectively maintained and operational.* Driving the continuous improvement culture within the business* Using data supplied by the Performance Improvement Director to optimise production output and identify CI initiatives.* Control, analyse and manage finances to departmental and Company budget, accurately reporting as and when required* Communicate effectively with all teams, providing leadership and advice for the Production department whilst maintaining discipline relating to data capture.If you are a proven leader with experience (10 years+) at a senior level in a dynamic manufacturing environment, ideally within an AS9100 or IATF16949 certified organisation (or NADCAP) then we would love to hear from you now.
