Logistics Customer Coordinator - Leading UK FMCG Business - Oakham, LeicestershireMonday to Friday Role working between 8.00am - 18.00pmClient DetailsMy client is a leading UK FMCG Business based in Oakham, Leicestershire who have experienced rapid growth over the past 5 years and actively looking to bolster their operations teams.DescriptionThe successful Logistics Customer Coordinator will report directly into the logistics manager and will be responsible for the following areas;

  • Assist in managing the day to day operations including; Distribution, Queries, Planning, Customer Service along with general administrative duties
  • Focus on providing efficiencys within the transport network, in order to maximise profits
  • Aim to plan loads in the most profitable way and drive efficiency
  • Communicate courteously with customers by telephone, email, letter and face-to-face
  • Proactive problem solving for Customers
  • Commutable to Oakham
ProfileThe successful candidate for the Logistics Customer Coordinator vacancy will display the following skills;
  • A Logistics distribution and Supply Chain background Desirable
  • 1 year Logistics, Transport or Customer Service experience
  • Enthusiasm and positive attitude Essential
  • MS Office Proficient (Excel,Word,Outlook,Teams)
  • Ability to commute to the Oakham / Rutland area
  • A passion for delivering a high level of service Essential
  • Experience of working to deadlines in a time-critical logistics environment Desirable
  • A willingness to learn and progress Essential
  • Develop and maintain rapport for both existing and new customers
