We’re taking part in a trial of the 4-Day Working Week, meaning that you could be working one dayless a week (or equivalent).4DWW will be rolled out within our school, when we have a full complement of staff, and within the next year – so there’s never been a more exciting time to join us #teamOFG!Job Title:English TeacherLocation:The Grange Therapeutic School, Knossington, OakhamSalary:Up to £38,000 per annumHours:37.5 hours per week,Monday to Friday8.30am–4.30pm (4pm Friday)Contract:Permanent, Term Time onlyJoin us today to receive a £1000 Welcome Bonus. *£500 paid once you start employment and £500 after successful completion of final probation – there has never been a better time to join us’* T&Cs apply! *UK applicants onlyWe are recruiting for an English Teacher to join our amazingteam atThe Grange Therapeutic School.About the roleThe successful applicant will plan and deliver the English curriculum to timetabled groups.To support pupils in achieving ability appropriate qualifications in English and participate in Safeguarding and Safety Intervention (SI) training and always be vigilantof the pupils’ well-being and welfare in any interactions with pupils.You will inspire, motivate and challenge pupils in the delivery of the curriculum across the year groups and take responsibility and be accountable for the academic outcomes of pupils taught.Contribute to the pastoral care of pupils and support their spiritual, moral, social and cultural development, monitor academic progress of the pupils in a form group, maintain positive relationships with parents/carer of the pupils in an allocated formgroups and comply with the teaching and learning approaches adopted in the school Teaching and Learning policy, and contribute to the Teaching and Learning development in the school.Adhere to the data/record keeping systems across the school and use appropriate data to inform target setting for individual pupils and students, plan lessons thoroughly in advance, to record outcomes and to compare and review the performance of pupils withcolleagues as appropriate.Qualifcations: QTS or equivalent; Previous Teaching experience required.About the SchoolThe Grange Therapeutic School is an independent special school for young people aged 8 -18 years with social, emotional and mental health difficulties.
