Focused Recruitment are currently recruiting an experienced Toolmaker on behalf of our clients Global manufacturing site based in Blackwood.This is working on contact with the view of permanent for the right candidateThe company offer a friendly environment, industry leading training and good benefits/working environment.Key Responsibilities:- Manufacture Machine Tools, Jigs and Fixtures to drawings supplied- Maintain existing tooling to a high quality standard- Support Operations and Engineering supplying tooling for both development and production- Inspection of own work using Verniers, Height Gauges, Micrometers, Shadowgraph etc.- Manage consumables relating to the nature of the job- Maintain 5S principles and good housekeeping standards within the Toolroom Area- Set up and operate Injection moulding/blow moulding machiney, tools where applicable- Work strictly to deadlines to ensure tooling is made available as and when required to a high standard- Work and adhere to HSE guidelines on sitePerson Specification- - Self-driven, results oriented with a positive outlook- A natural forward planner who critically assess own performance- Reliant, tolerant and determined- Open to new experiences, responsibility and accountability- Managing own workload effectively, prioritising where necessary- Work closely with colleagues to build and maintain good working relationships, exchange working knowledge to enhance own working performance and to liaise with Engineering at all times- An understanding and alignment to our Bromford Values; Customer Focus, Continuous Improvement, Teamwork, Respect and IntegrityBy applying for this position you are giving authorisation for Focused Recruitment Ltd to contact you regarding this vacancy and other vacancies we feel may be suitable for you.We will not present your CV to any clients without your explicit consent.
