Job Description

Established over 75 years ago, this specialist manufacturer of plastic products for a range of sectors is currently seeking an experienced plastic injection moulding Setter to join their team, working on a days basis Monday-Friday.Working within a moulding team that includes one other setter, two supervisors with basic setting and troubleshooting capabilities and several permanent operators, your duties will include -

  • Performing tool changes, setting from scratch, process optimising, and machine maintenance.
  • Supporting supervisors and operators.
  • Controlling stock in and out of production.
  • Some basic work with Extrusion Blow moulding Machines, though training will be given for this.
    • To be successful in this role, the ideal candidate -
  • Should have experience of working within a plastics manufacturing environment as an Injection Moulding Machine Tool Setter.
  • Will have knowledge of polymers and properties and capabilities.
  • Will be able to carry out advanced troubleshooting and rectification.
  • Be capable of carrying out general maintenance.
    • On offer:
  • Salary of up to £30k
  • 5 day week Monday - Friday 8-5pm
