Accounts ClerkOadby Up to £25,00012 month Fixed Term Contract, Full Time or 4 days p.w. Part Time

The Company:ER Recruitment is working exclusively with our client, Tranter Fire & Security Systems, a large, respected business based in Oadby who are continuing to grow in market share. They are now recruiting for an Accounts Clerk to become a part of their motivated,customer centric team which is incessantly expanding.This role is a brilliant opportunity for an individual who is meticulous with a key eye for detail and loves the variety of both accounts and administration.Role & Responsibilities of the Accounts Clerk:
  • Keeping accurate and timely accounting records
  • Control of bank and cash
  • Credit control
  • Production of VAT returns
  • Producing management reports and completing Year End
  • Preparing company payroll and payments, employee personnel records and employee holiday/absence records
  • Preparing and sending invoices using a bespoke Database
  • Petty cash
  • Providing additional support to Admin Team where required i.e. assisting with incoming calls
  • Answering Telephone Calls when Office Assistant is busy or on annual leave
  • Data Entry
  • Banking
  • General Administration/Reception duties
  • Develop and maintain good working relationships with employees, clients and colleagues
  • Other office administration duties as required
About You as the Accounts Clerk:
  • Have a background in a similar accounts role with Sage 50 experience
  • Be proficient in administration
  • Be driven to deadlines
  • Be able to build strong relationships with team members
