Job Description

With over 40,000 people working across our 1,600 pubs, our breweries and two support centres, a career at Greene King has no limits.Warehouse Team Leader (Lates) - Eastwood DistributionWe are recruiting a Warehouse Team Leader to be responsible for overseeing all day to day operational activities within the warehouse department, and day to day supervision of the warehouse team.This is a full time permanent role working 2-10pm Monday to Friday. Due to the late shift the role includes a generous shift premium.Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the warehouse department is adhering to all compliance/regulations and company procedures
  • Ensure KPI targets are exceeded and corrective action is taken in a timely manner where required
  • Overall responsibility for departmental HSQE ensuring issues are managed through to correction
  • Ensure stock checks are completed accurately and on time
  • Ensure all audit results are within agreed targets
  • Ensure all orders are processed to the correct specifications
  • Ensure MHE is managed effectively and in line with legislation
  • Complete accident investigations as and when necessary
  • Ensure a high standard of housekeeping is applied at all times
  • Line management responsibility for selected members of the warehouse team
  • Strategically deploy resource to ensure maximum service levels adherence with minimal cost impact
  • Support the Warehouse Manager to identify areas of opportunity/improvement within the warehouse department
  • Liaise with internal and external customers to ensure problems are resolved in a timely manner
  • Effectively manage supplier/customer relationships in line with business standards
About you...
  • Experienced people manager with a track record of developing teams
  • Good knowledge of Health and Safety procedures/legislation
  • Warehousing experience in a fast moving FMCG environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office specifically Excel
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to interact at all levels both internally and externally
  • Strong planning, organisational and time management skills
  • Ability to lead, motivate and engage a multi-disciplined team
  • Flexible to meet business needs and be able to make quick decisions in a fast paced environment
  • Must demonstrate a methodical approach with a good attention to detail
