Fantastic New Pay RatesAre you looking for a full or part time Permanent role with an opportunity to grow with a market-leading and rapidly expanding parcel delivery business If so Staffline are recruiting for Warehouse Operatives to work night shifts in Eastwood, Nottingham.. Pay rate £9.20 to £10.00 p/hShifts are typically 8 hours a day, but you will be required to be flexible to meet the demands of the business. No experience required and full training given - IMMEDIATE STARTS AVAILABLEYour Time at WorkAs a Parcel Loader/Sorter you will be responsible for the loading and unloading of vehicles and the sortation and scanning of parcels into cages. This role requires the manual handling of both small and large items and sacks, physical as well as mental agility is needed. This is a fast-paced environment and you will need to keep up with the line. Your duties will include: About the Role:Youll report into your Shift Supervisor and Nightshift Manager, where you will be part of a shift that processes a large volume of parcels. Depending on which shift and what day, it may be anything from 40,000 to 100,000 parcels in a shift.You will be responsiblethe sortation and scanning of parcels on a conveyor into cages and also unloading of vehicles. You will be trained up in every area. But dont worry you wont be tackling them alone! Youll work as part of a team and use some really smart kit to help you sort all those parcels efficiently. Youll use Hand-Held Terminals (HHTs), pump-trucks (once youre trained) and work on fancy conveyor systems that bring the parcels to you and then youwill sort them in to smaller "collars" for certain areas and postcodes. This isnt an easy job and at times you will have to deal with large volumes but then there will be times when the volumes are lighter and youll have chance to gain new skills and experience. Sunday will be a regular working day as part of your rota and you will get approx. 1 n 4 Sundays off as part of your rota. All rotas will be confirmed and in place for the full 12 weeks until you are taken on permanently, unlike other agency positions you will know what shifts you are working so that you can make Our Perfect WorkerOur perfect Parcel Sorter/Loader will be available to work night shifts across Sunday to Friday with a day off in the week.
