Job Description

Senior Software Engineer – Nottinghamshire (East Midlands)Salary - £50,000 - £70,000 per annum, depending on skillset and experienceHybrid - 3 days onsite and 2 days WFHGreat Benefits Package – See Below An established and very successful Hi-Technology engineering company based in Nottinghamshire (East Midlands) who’re known for producing world class engineering products on a global scale along with high quality technology usage and development in numerous sectors that include food, beverage, pharmaceutical, cosmetics, automotive and manymore have a brand new opening position within the engineering team to hire for a brand new Senior Software Engineer. Job Responsibility:As the successful Senior Software Engineer, you will be responsible for producing designs and provide technological solutions to new technology advances within the accomplished and diverse Technology team.Key Skills/Experience:

  • 3-5+ years minimum industry experience
  • Experience of developing real time embedded software
  • Embedded Software Programming in C, C++
  • Ideally C++
  • Software development experience in any object-oriented programming language for example: C++, Java, or C#
  • Knowledge & experience of microcontrollers & microprocessors
  • Knowledge & experience of Linux, Windows, is desirable
  • Understanding of real-time and concurrent principles and an appreciation of networked devices, distributed processes, and packet-based protocols
  • Knowledge and experience of designing, implementing, and maintaining desktop and embedded software for new and existing products
  • Ideally some experience of electronics control, interfacing motors, sensors – Strong Plus
  • Experienced in Agile SW development
  • Version Control – GIT, SVN, JIRA or similar
