Job Description

Calling experienced Power Electronics Systems Engineers!The company:My client are looking for a Senior Power Electronics Systems Engineer to join their currently expanding and agile team of about 12 - 14 Electronics Engineers to work on the design and development of some exciting new projects. The company are an Electronics company and a great community to become a part of, they are able to offer a competitive salary and bonus package.The Senior Power Electronics Systems Engineer role:Currently the role will be fully remote working due to the current climate. However, it will usually require a mixture of remote (about 60%) and on site work (about 40%). The site is based in Nottinghamshire.Desired Senior Power Electronics Systems Engineer experience:

  • Degree or equivalent in relevant field
  • 4+ years of experience in relevant electrical and electronics positions
  • Experience working with cross functional teams: mechanical, firmware, test, and manufacturing.
  • Understanding of DC-DC Converter topologies and control methods
  • Converter architecture design experience
  • Current knowledge of industry standards for consumer and industrial products
  • Solid state power Controller board architecture design experience would be preferable but is not essential
  • Experience designing a rectifier unit more than 7kW would be beneficial
