Job Description

The Quality Engineer will be a vital member of the Engineering & Manufacturing team, ensuring the high standards of our industrial and manufacturing processes. They will be pivotal in maintaining and improving the quality of our manufactured goods.Client DetailsOur client are a highly regarded manufacturing company based in the Nottingham area. The company specialise in manufacturing packaging solutions for many global brands.Description

  • Developing, implementing, and improving quality control systems.
  • Reviewing manufacturing processes for improvement using various methods of testing and inspection.
  • Ensuring that all products meet required specifications and customer expectations.
  • Identify and rectifying any quality issues in a timely manner.
  • Contributing to the continual improvement of product quality through the monitoring of production and quality control data.
  • Ensuring ISO compliance.
  • Reporting on key quality metrics to company management.
  • Participating in internal and external audits.
ProfileA successful Quality Engineer should have:
  • An academic background in Engineering or a quality related field.
  • Strong knowledge of quality assurance methodologies and ISO standards.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong communication skills for reporting to management and working with team members.
  • Knowledge of quality within the manufacturing sector, ideally FMCG, packaging, chemicals.
  • High attention to detail and a focus on continual improvement.
