I am delighted to be working with a global manufacturer of passive fire protection systems and insulation products on their search for a Site Surveyor.Based out of Hucknall, my client are leaders in their field. Theyve grown the business from a handful of employees into a 600 strong organisation with sites across the globe.Their Hucknall facility manages the production of heat insulated jackets. These are most commonly used around industrial pipework/valves and are used across a range of industries. There are around 30 people working in the Hucknall facility, across Engineering,Production & Projects - so everyone knows eachother and you wont be just another face on the shop floor.As a Production Operative, your duties will include: Carrying out day to day processing of materials, including turning and burning of jackets, pinning and packing of the orders upon completion as required by line manager in accordance with manufacturing instructions.Adhering to recommended stock controls as informed by the Production Manager.Completing all duties in a timely manner to ensure production continues efficiently.Maintaining a good standard of housekeeping ensuring that the working environment is kept clear of waste on an on-going basis. Maintaining tools and equipment to include cleaning and safe storage.Ensuring that all duties are undertaken in a safe and controlled manner.Reporting and immediately dealing with any spillages, hazardous and dangerous practises. Reducing waste and ensuring that all waste materials are disposed of in accordance with company and legislative procedures.The hours are part time Mon - Thurs 9-2.30 and Friday 9-1.30 - there may be the option to move to full time hours later on if this is your preference.
