Pay Rate: £13.16-£14.66Ave Hrs Per Week: Relief coverShift Times: 18:00- 06:00 (12hour shift)Shift Pattern Relief coverLocation - In and around NottinghamJob Purpose:Working remotely conducting mobile patrols with a security dog unit following a planned route of solar farms covering approximately 20 sites. Foot patrols with the dog will be undertaken on each site, to protect assets from potential theft and damage. AlarmResponse may change the requirements of the planned route.For this role you are required to attend a multitude of sites during the night using a company vehicle, on arrival at the sites handlers will be required to carry out a full site foot patrol, log any findings on the site , and keep an up to date log book,adher to the Assignment Instructions fully,Communicate effectively and courteously with Site Management and workers,Key Objectives- Always deliver the role of a Security Dog Handler to a high standard.Conduct the role of a Security Professional by adhering to the Assignment Instructions fully.Communicate effectively and courteously with Site Management and workers.Report all Observations and IncidentsTake personal responsibility for the Health and Safety of K9 Patrol, the client, other onsite personnel, yourself, and your dog.Punctuality is essential to the role, arriving to site 15 minutes before the shift start time.Always remain alert and vigilant.Activities- Use the SmartTaskApp to book on, do check calls and book off in line with requirements of each assignment.Attend and undertake the mandatory training required for the role.Attend and undertake specific Dog Handler training in line with the BS 8517 applicant and dog should be suitably trained for the role with up-to-date training records to the British standard 8517Produce accurate and timely reports and information as required.Check the area of the site including buildings, machinery etc and make notes of anything that appears to be out of the ordinary. Site Manager and the Operations Manager. Create an entry in the Site Log showing time and date and details.Foot patrols to be conducted as set out in the Assignment Instructions.Requirements: -To possess a NASDU Level 2 or equivalentSuitable VehicleGood spoken EnglishFrontline SIA Licence HolderIndustry experience essentialFull UK Driving LicenceCity Group is committed to equal opportunities.
