Job Description

Financial Accountant | Ruddington | £45,000 - £55,000Macildowie Finance is currently working on a position offering the opportunity to work for a leading tech business, based in South Nottinghamshire.This role is based on site in Ruddington 5 days a week.Recruiting for a Financial Accountant, this job will report to the Finance Director. The role is newly created because of growth over the last 2/3 years.Key Responsibilities

  • Running the monthly, quarterly, and annual statutory returns for the company.
  • Take responsibility for key processes around payroll and incentive planning.
  • Reconciliation and review of balance sheet accounts
  • Manage and report on Cash for Group companies
  • Co-ordination of Annual Audit through planning and completion of statutory accounts
  • Continuously looking for improvements in processes, efficiencies, and delivery, with a strong emphasis on Financial Controls.
  • Provide support to the other members of the Finance Department
  • Deputise for the Finance Director when necessary.
Skills
  • Relevant professional qualification, e.g. ACA, ACCA, CIMA
  • A keen eye for detail and with the ability to make decisions with solid analytical skills
  • Ability to work pro-actively within a team and on your own, as the tasks demand.
  • Strong communication skills as this role will be required to liaise with D & C suite
  • Experience with working with different financial software packages and strong use of Microsoft excel
