Job Description

CREDIT RISK ANALYST UP TO £45,000NOTTINGHAMThis is an exciting new opportunity for an energy company where you can make a difference to struggling customers in todays current climate. The company is committed to providing reliable and renewable energy sources and aims to achieve this through cutting-edge technology and a forward-thinkinginnovative approach.THE ROLE:You can expect to do the following daily:

  • Apply diverse analytical and statistical methodologies to extract meaningful insights from data, offering practical solutions to address business and customer challenges.
  • Conduct precise data mining and extraction from both structured and unstructured sources to develop innovative insight solutions.
  • Create and implement data-driven solutions for extensive or intricate datasets, involving the gathering and manipulation of disparate data, application of analytical techniques, and visualisation of results.
  • Evaluate customer behavioural trends and creditworthiness from various perspectives, including credit, collection, vulnerability, and affordability, using both internal and external data sources.
  • Contribute analytical insights and solutions to areas of responsibility, emphasizing problem-solving capabilities.
  • Recognize the strategic implications of analytical findings and their impact on business decisions.
  • Collaborate with colleagues in Credit Operations and across the organization to establish a credit and debt management function that sets industry standards.
  • Utilise SQL, Python, and Tableau to enhance analytical capabilities.
YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
  • Analytical experience and knowledge of data analysis is needed.
  • Expertise in SQL or Python.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • A strong degree in a numerate subject.
  • Experience working for an energy company would be ideal.
