Job Description

I am currently recruiting for a Business Support Administrator to work on behalf of my client, a public sector organisation based in Nottingham (NG5).You will be working within the Central Services Team supporting our reception area and centralised functions.Duties of the Business Support Administrator will include:

  • Clerical tasks including taking and making telephone calls, checking and verifying information, typing and photocopying; with due regard to confidentiality and safeguarding.
  • Create, manage and manipulate information whether relating to finance, staffing information, customers or any other service requirement or eligibility criteria, this will include producing bespoke and complex reports.
  • Responsible for the organisation of meetings and events including booking venues, issuing invitations and papers and taking minutes.
  • Undertake reception duties, meet and greet visitors, provide direction and give advice and guidance to basic enquiries.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to provide high quality customer service.
  • Effective and efficient organisational skills are key to this role along with the ability to arrange meetings and progress actions as appropriate.
  • Be able to use your own initiative and also enjoy working as part of a team.
  • Be able to multi-task and have exceptional time-management skills and enjoy working under pressure with frequently conflicting demands.
  • Good grammar and literacy skills are essential along with the ability to be flexible and able to prioritise your workload to meet tight deadlines.
