JOB PURPOSE: Im currently recruiting for a role involving designing and delivering highly performant, scalable, mission-critical software systems through high quality and continuously improving software development practices for a telecommunications company with an extensive portfolio of business messaging brands.PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES The role holder will be responsible for: Developing software across the full suite of our products and services Involvement of the entire development life cycle, within a collaborative team of developers Leading agile ceremonies such as stand-ups, planning meetings and retrospectives Ccollaborating with product managers to meet requirements in the form of deliverable user stories and tasks. Providing specialist technical support to colleagues, both in and out of hours Estimating, designing, and planning potential projects and features Being the initial contact point for development sub-teams working on a work streamwithin the larger team Providing support to team members in delivering designs and internal standards. Acting as a mentor to other team membersSKILLS/EXPERIENCE: The job holder will be an exceptional candidate, with a proven track record in a similar role. In particular they are required to have:Essential Demonstrable experience of delivering high quality software in one or more modern languages Strong experience in C# .NET Strong communication and documentation skills Front end web development in either Angular or Vue.js or other modern JavaScriptDesirable Microsoft Azure PaaS technology for application development Infrastructure as Code scripting using Terraform Experience of working in a DevOps environment Agile practices such as pair-programming, test-driven development and user storiesXpertise Works acts as an employment Agency
