Job Title:Product Assurance Support OfficeFunction:Clinical and Product AssuranceLocation:Home basedwith some travelTypePermanentSalary£37,000 - £50,000 per annumClosing DateFriday 26^th August 2022 NHS Supply Chain are recruiting for a Product Assurance Support Officer, within our Clinical and Product Assurance Function. The product assurance support officer will work closely with our Category Tower Service Providers and SCCL procurement colleagues, yourrole will be central to making sure that the products we sell are safe, fit for purpose and innovative. In doing so you will be helping to support the delivery of the national supply chain model through working effectively with the Product Assurance Specialistteam to deliver the requirements of the Clinical and Product Assurance strategies. This role will support the overall coordination of activity within the team by managing the allocation of procurement frameworks [INS: . :INS] What does a Product Assurance Support Office do at NHS Supply Chain

  • Coordination of frameworks using the procurement database. This will involve managing the allocation of the frameworks to the team (matrix style), using a central database.
  • Produce monthly reports covering all aspects of the CaPA function, pulling from a variety of data sources.
  • Support Product Assurance Specialists in their role, offering input to the assurance of NHSSCs product range.
  • Lead on the assurance of lower priority frameworks, and support PASs on high level frameworks.
  • Ensure appropriate feedback is reported to the senior management team to support the strategy sign off for each contract holder.
  • Use early warnings indicators to proactively manage risk factors to ensure the Clinical and Product agenda is a priority within the service provider towers and across the NHS.
  • Grow and establish relationships with the service provider towers ensuring effective communication through two-way feedback.
