Opticians – Learning & Development DesignerThe Opticians Support team continually improve processes to make a difference to our patients and customers. Supporting and implementing systems across the business, this fast paced function builds great relationships with our Opticians to ensure they can meet the ever changing needs of our patients and customers. You will provide world class support and knowledge. In return, we will build a personal development plan with you that helps you develop and further your career.This role is till March 2020Key Responsibilities• Own the cycle of development of learning to support new business initiatives and refreshes of existing ranges, from gathering learner insights and project scoping, through to evaluation and renewal.• Design learning using various approaches, including ‘classroom’, virtual classroom, coaching, digital and webinars to make the learning fit for purpose and create a rich source of diverse materials.• Contribute to the development and evolution of a rich and fulfilling learning offering, that gives learners varied options for learning and encourages a learner-led culture. The learning will encourage recipients to grow and develop in their role and into bigger roles.• Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and identify opportunities to gather internal and external insights, joining up the thinking and ideas to deliver creative and fresh solutions for learners.• Continuously develop your knowledge and skills and help others to grow their capability.A bit about you…• A creative thinker with a passion for getting things right for the learner, who can be pragmatic in balancing creativity with the need to deliver in a fast paced and changing environment.• Constantly curious about new ways of doing things, committed to developing yourself and others to design and deliver innovative solutions that are perfect for our learners.• Strong experience of creating insight-led learning solutions for a varied audience.
