Job Description

Our client is a global leader in the manufacture and distribution of component parts and products across industries that include Consumer Goods, Healthcare, Tobacco, Transport & Logistics, its global scale and long-term partnership approach, laying the foundations for a compelling and successful business model. Central to our Client’s success is their investment in staff attraction, training, development, and retention, all at the heart of their staffing vision. As our client continues to grow and add to its already talented team, they are currently looking to appoint a Head of HRIS to lead the global HR software portfolio.The RoleWorking from home with 1-2 days in the Nottingham office, leading a team of 4, the purpose of this role is to develop and drive the HR Information Systems strategy across the group. You will be responsible for the entire HR systems roadmap, partnering with key stakeholders across the business including IT, HR, Finance, and the divisions in order to effectively integrate new and existing HR systems into the organisation.Core Responsibilities

  • Work in partnership with the HR Leadership Team to develop a clear strategy for HR systems across the organisation.
  • Lead in the implementation and development of core HR systems across the business, working closely with internal/external stakeholders to identify operational requirements.
  • Effectively partner with IT, HR, Finance, and key business stakeholders in the evaluation of HRIS functional/technical configuration as it impacts HR data standards and reporting capabilities and ensure optimisation with other technology applications.
  • Manage relationships with external suppliers; ensure contractual agreements are met and service provisions meet the needs of the business. Monitor performance against contractual SLA’s and KPI’s, ensuring that there is a focus on continuous service improvement.
  • Ensure that the organisation is fully compliant with all relevant data privacy and protection regulations across the HRIS Information Systems landscape.
  • Effectively lead the HRIS team to ensure the function provides expert and timely support to all global stakeholders and ensure smooth operations of all group HR Information Systems.
  • Manage the budget as it relates to HR Information Systems by ensuring all supplier invoicing is appropriately monitored and accounted for
  • ExperienceEssential:
  • At least five years of related experience with integrated HR and payroll systems
  • Experience of working with large, enterprise HR technologies (e.g. Oracle, Workday, SAP)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
  • Detail-oriented with strong organisational skills
  • Ability to persuade, influence, and negotiate with colleagues and vendors; communicates effectively at all levels
  • Desirable:
  • Experience of global HR systems implementations
  • Multi-lingual (French, German and/or Spanish would be beneficial)
  • Ceridian Dayforce, WFM and Payroll experience
  • Experience of dealing with US benefits
