Recruitment | Training | Business Advice & ConsultancyVacancy profileJob Title: Care Home ManagerLocation: NottinghamHours: 8:30am-4:30pm (40 Hours Per Week)Salary: £40,000 per annumThe RoleA new opportunity for an experienced Care Home Manager to join a dedicated team of a well-established care home branch based in Nottingham.You will report to the Home Manager, duties are (but not limited to) the below:

  • Strong people skills to take on a visible leadership role in managing an 84-bed residential home.
  • Provide induction, supervision and mentoring of staff and take responsibility for identifying training and development needs.
  • To ensure effective deployment of staffing resources by planning and participating in the care rota to ensure 24-hour needs-led care for patients.
  • To manage budgets and ensure all financial transactions are conducted and recorded.
  • To coordinate the assessment of individual clients as required, establishing specific support and action plans.
  • To ensure all supplies and equipment are ordered and sufficiently monitored.
  • The Candidate
  • You will have extensive experience within nursing/residential homes.
  • Be educated to NVQ Level 4 or higher in Health and Social Care.
  • Be a registered mental health nurse or a registered general nurse.
  • Be able to work the above-mentioned hours and be flexible to work over-time and overnight stays when required.
  • Experience in putting together and reviewing support and care plans.
  • Possess a strong understanding of Care Health & Safety practices.
