IT and Computing ServiceCentre for Technology Enhanced LearningVideo-based Learning TechnologistREF: ALC1164£34,304 to £40,927 per annumFull Time, Fixed Term for 30 monthsThe Centre for Technology Enhanced Learning (CTEL) at the University of East Anglia (UEA) wishes to appoint a Video-based Learning Technologist. The University is investing in lecture and teaching capture technology and you will be responsible for configuring,administering, and supporting the associated tools (e.g., Echo360, eStream, Backboard Collaborate, and Camtasia). You will ensure that agreed processes and standard procedures are reflected within the systems, provide training and support for the technology,and develop reports and management information to help shape service improvement.You will be educated to degree-level (or equivalent qualification) or have demonstrable relevant experience of working in an educational environment to support either face to face or online learning. You will have substantial experience in technologies usedin a teaching environment, be innovative, and have an enthusiasm to support student progress and digital innovation.It is expected that, for the immediate future, this role will involve a mixture of home and office working (subject to change in the future).The post is available immediately on a full-time basis for a fixed term period of 30 months.Closing date: Tuesday 16 November 2021.The University is a Silver Institutional Athena Swan Award holder and aims to make its first submission to the Race Equality Charter in 2022.
