ToolmakerTechnique Recruitment Solutions are specialists in Engineering & Manufacturing recruitment and have a new opportunity to join a Nationwide Company in their busy and fast paced Engineering team as a Toolmaker to work as part of the team to ensure toolingis produced quickly and accurately. Main KPIs will include: Delivering new tooling on time, working to tolerances on drawings and refurbishing old tools as required on time to suit production.42 hours per week, Mon - Thurs 7-4.30pm and 7-1.00 Fri some flexibility in there but core hours would remain the same. Salary £28,000 - £30,000Key Accountabilities* Ensuring drawings are kept up to date* Liaison with tool tuners on modifying toolingKey Duties and Responsibilities* Work as part of the team to ensure tooling is produced quickly and accurately* Keep a clean and tidy work area* Produce work to drawings, sketches or verbal instructions* Abide by all statutory requirements including those relating to health and safety.* Understand and fulfil your responsibilities under the Companys equal opportunities policy in place from time to time.* Adhere to and promote all company policies and procedures in place Person SpecificationThe ideal candidate will hold a mechanical engineering qualification, (city and guilds minimum) or equivalent and have experience working in a precision engineering environment, preferably a Toolroom, working to tight tolerances.
