Job Description

Help transform our approach to systems and information within Housing & BenefitsRole Snapshot Do you relish having a varied role and being part of a busy team An opportunity has arisen within our Housing and Benefits Team to provide day to day systems and information support. You will be working across a variety of key services provided by the team,liaising with colleagues, residents and customers.   • Lead in the development, maintenance and review of the core systems used by the Housing and Benefits Service, including managing systems upgrades, patches and defect resolution, providing support to the team;
  • Lead on providing system admin technical support for the Benefits systems of CIVICA and CAPITA, enabling the service to achieve optimal day to day function and to assist service development.
  • Undertake project work as required and provide project support to colleagues within the service.
  • Transformation to one Benefits system. Working with the project team to lead on the testing and implementation of the new Benefit system.
  • Maintain the integrity of the data in the systems to ensure data quality and compliance.
  • Create and run routine and ad hoc reports to respond to both internal and external information and data requests, ensuring reporting requirements are met, completing statutory returns, ensuring data submissions are accurate and timely.
You must have5 GCSEs A-C grade or equivalent; or be able to demonstrate ability at this level. Experience of working in a Housing and Benefits role, with knowledge of Benefits systems, processes and procedures (or similar transferrable experience). Technical experiencerelating to a range of databases, spreadsheets and the development of management information reporting processes. The ability to advise, support and train colleagues across a mixture of technical queries, system support, reporting requests, and procedure advice.Demonstrable project work experience, with creative and innovative problem-solving skills within a systems and/or customers service environment.Whats in it for youOur package includes:
