Job Description

R13 are proudly supporting an award-winning business in their recruit for a Senior Systems Engineer to join their Norwich-based team. For this role you will utilise your previous technical support experience to manage complex IT cases, install and maintain IT systems and ensure client SLAs and requirements are being met.Based in Norwich, this is a full time, permanent position (37.5 hours per week) working Monday - Friday.   • Managing complex cases regarding client IT systems, ensuring SLAs are met.
  • Carrying out fault diagnosis and resolution, as well as, proving onsite/remote/telephone support to end-users.
  • Installation & maintenance of IT systems, ensuring these systems meet client requirements.
  • Acting as a mentor to and help expand the knowledge/skills of other engineers.
  • Accurately logging, updating and processing tickets from initial communication through to resolution.
  • Implementing relevant projects ensuring these are in line with company procedures and standards.
You will have/be
  • A track record as an IT Engineer working at 3rd line with excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Outstanding customer service skills.
  • Working knowledge of the following: Microsoft 365, Windows Service 2012 onwards, networking technologies (LAN/WAN), DHCP/DNS, virtual environments, PowerShell scripting & Microsoft Azure.
  • Experience using an RMM tool.
Desirable
  • Experience with Cisco Meraki.
  • Automation skills.
  • IT Security and securing identity in the cloud.
