Senior IT Support Engineer - Windows Server / Cloud / NetworkNorwich, Norfolk (office-based, with travel to customer sites)£28,000 - £35,000 Plus BenefitsAs a respected and long-established Managed Service Provider, Onyx IT delivers IT support, Cyber Security and Cloud Services to SMEs. Due to continued success, we are now recruiting a Senior IT Support Engineer to join our team on a full-time basis.As a Senior IT Support Engineer, you will:- Provide technical support to Onyx IT customers- Work within a fast-paced environment- Travel to customer offices when required- Ensure issues are resolved in a timely manner- Take lead responsibility with Junior Engineers- Complete projects as and when required in line with the scope of works (migrations, rollouts, implementations)- Provide technical support for escalated issues and tickets (3rd Line)Work as part of the on-call rota- Have passion and enthusiasm for excellent service delivery and pride in your ability- Contribute to a positive working environmentTo be considered as a Senior IT Support Engineer, you will need:- At least four years experience in a customer-facing, hands-on, technical role- A full, valid driving licenceYou will also need experience in the following:- Windows Server and infrastructure- Strong Office365- Windows Desktop (7, 8, 8.1 and/or 10)- Active Directory and/or Group Policy- Wireless technologies- Networking; firewalls and/or routing- VPN technologies- Telephony solutionsWe are interested in hearing from candidates who have experience as an IT Support Engineer, Technical Support Engineer, Network Support Engineer, IT Helpdesk Analyst, Service Desk Engineer or Technical Support Advisor.Whats in it for you- Gain exposure to a wide range of technologies- Access to training and time allocated to help you be as confident in your role as possible- The full support of a consultancy that has over 30 years experience in IT service delivery- Benefits including pension scheme and, when office-based, lunch is provided- 20 days holiday including public holidays (rising with service)- Flexible working from home or officeSo, if youre seeking your next challenge as a Senior IT Support Engineer, please apply via the button shown.
