Job Description

Position: Senior Housing Engagement WorkerPay: £12.63 per hour (Grade F - £24,628.50 per annum)Location: YMCA CentralContract Type: PermanentHours per week: 37.5 hours per weekAre you looking for a new challenge to start off the New Year Are you ready to step up into a Senior position to support the Central Housing Manager and learn more about the operational side of running a youth hostel Then this role could be for you!We are looking for a Senior Housing Engagement Worker to join the team at our YMCA Central Hostel!Job Role:

  • To provide an environment for residents with a programme of positive activities, that is safe, supportive and secure, to address the variety of barriers young people face. Ensuring residents feel included in the needs, risk and planning of the service theywill receive, to move through a pathway to more independent living. Whilst on duty, to provide support to other staff in the service and to ensure the health and safety, security and well-being of service users, staff and visitors. To support the manager withrunning of the service.
